For optimum performance, your clock should be oiled at least every 3 to 5 years, and cleaned every 5-10 years. If not, the surface bearings will wear out leading to their replacement. Rely on our expertise to properly service your clock's movement. He'll take the movement completely apart, clean and lubricate it.
Are your clock's hands not moving? It's time you bring it to Heritage Clocks LLC. Trust us to clean and oil your clock the right way with top-quality overhaul and maintenance services. Count on us to do the job right the first time.

If your clock is not operating properly, it needs to be serviced and cleaned, or oiled and overhauled. We can determine that during the house call.
Keep in mind: if a clock repairman comes to your home and does not pull the movement out of your grandfather clock, there's no way he can do proper servicing. He must gain access to the front and backplate of the clock with the face removed.
Reinstalling means resetting the clock up in its entirety. Our expert will reinstall the weights and pendulum and reset the time on your clock. We will reinstall the clock and do a 1-on-1 with the customer on the operation of their clock while they are present. We also do moving unpacks or shipping unpacks under the same principles.
We'll make arrangements to pick up your clock (local customers) or let you know when you can drop it off.
Give us a call, and we can schedule an appointment to look at your clock. By appointment only.

Michael (Heritage Clocks LLC) has been repairing and keeping my grandfather clock running for almost 8 years now. Michael is an expert in his field and does it great. He knows his business well and I trust him completely with all of my clocks. He has always come to my home to repair my grandfather clock when needed and keeps my clock well oiled and in good condition. When my grandfather clock needed new parts, Michael was able to actually make some of the parts himself. He is very professional and has always done an excellent job. Such a wealth of information he has. His prices are reasonable and he gets the job done. I highly recommend Heritage Clocks for all your clock needs.

Michael Pfielschiefter, owner or operator of Heritage Clocks came out on a Sunday morning to repair our Ridgeway Grandfather clock, which had stopped working about 3 to 4 years ago. My wife had given up on it and suggested we donate it, but we had paid a lot for it, even back in the early '90s. Michael was meticulous, careful and you could see his 41 years of experience as he worked---he is a true master craftsman. After about an hour of detailed, unrushed work, he was able to get it going as well as taking care of a lot of other detailed issues I wasn't even aware of. Plus charge was very reasonable, especially for a Sunday. Highly, highly recommended!

Michael was an amazing help with my 25-year-old Howard-Miller grandfather clock. Two of the chime rods were broken and he had the same chime rods (used from an old chime block) and replaced the broken ones. Since I removed and remounted the chime block myself, he instructed me as to how to adjust the hammers and the sound is as if brand new. He is the best!
